Secure power terminals
Tighten A1, B1, C1 and A2, B2, C2 securely. Loose high-current connections can overheat and damage the SCR.

Catalogue specifications for the basic MGR-SCR3_LA series are shown below. The exact suffix and configuration should be checked against the current datasheet for the selected unit.
The catalogue reference drawing shows the basic SCR3_LA with heat sink and air-cooled fan. It lists overall dimensions of 100 × 110 × 145 mm and mounting dimensions of 90 × 80 mm. Confirm that this assembly drawing matches the exact SCR3-40EG configuration before using it for panel cut-outs.

Tighten A1, B1, C1 and A2, B2, C2 securely. Loose high-current connections can overheat and damage the SCR.
For a Y-connected load, connect the load neutral to the supply neutral. If the neutral is not connected, the three-phase load should be relatively balanced.
For loads above 15 kW, the catalogue recommends a suitable heat sink, thermal grease between the heat sink and SCR backplate, and forced-air cooling; it specifically calls for a high-power air-cooled fan above this level.
The basic type does not include a fast fuse by default. The catalogue recommends a semiconductor high-speed fuse to protect the load and module from overcurrent.
Reference information is based on the MGR English catalogue. Confirm model suffix, control input, supplied cooling parts, wiring and dimensions for the exact unit before installation.
